If it wasn«t for the fact that street light illuminate our world at night, our days would end with sunset. Still while studying industrial design, street lights caught my attention and I started taking pictures of them. Over time, my motivation to document these objects changed: first, it was the overwhelming variety of shapes and lamps in general, then these mass-produced objects in connection with architecture and finally personality and gesture of abstract materials. Six years later, I ask myself how we are ever going to see the stars again at night if there are so many street lights on our planet. This book is a documentary with no comment. Street lights.
