This manual assumes that (architectural) design is mainly a matter of developing and enriching what is, preferably, a basic idea. Design is a craft with its own history, rules, tools and habits. Like any serious exercise of a craft, it demands dedication and endurance. In the end, one only learns to design by doing it frequently, intensively and with dedication.
