It was too late to turn back, we are packed and on our way.
My lovely boys, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial husband, and our pet dog are off to start a new life in the sunny Algarve, not realising the pitfalls we were about to face.
Following a holiday in Portugal where he loved the way of life, my husband decided what Portugal needed was an English Music Bar?
So I found myself being frog marched away to the Algarve where heÕd already purchased a large Portuguese Bar, which heÕd named The London Bar. From day one I am thrown into a life of serving behind the bar. Not only am I in unfamiliar territory, I canÕt speak the language, I donÕt know the currency, and mixing and serving drinks are a mystery to me Plus the bar is full of Portuguese men staring at me as if I shouldnÕt be there.
Well they were right, No I shouldnÕt. Plus IÕm still trying to be a mum to our three sons. It was a foregone conclusion that disaster would strike, and believe me it did.
