The Surrey Artist of the Year exhibition gives recognition to the artists who have taken part in the Surrey Open Studios summer event. The prize is in its fourth year and celebrates the partnership between the New Ashgate Gallery and the Surrey Artists Open Studios. Each year the exhibition showcases a variety of artwork created in the region.
The exhibition presents work by Amanda Cobbett, Emma Dunbar, Gillian Harris, Christine Hopkins, Jo Lovelock, Fiona Millais, Peg Morris, Tessa Pearson, Roger Roberts, Joe Szabo, Jean Tolkovsky and Barbara Westwell.
The catalogue is edited by Margaret Harris. Surrey Artist of the Year is supported by Baines Charitable Trust.
