Trevor Whetstone was born in Leeds, the son of working class parants. My father at the time of my birth in 1947 was a tyre fitter at Samuel Ledgards, and my mother was a Burler & Mender in the mill.
In this book my life stretches from having thirteen various jobs until joining the army, driving a tank, getting married, becoming an artist, playing in a rock band, running an art gallery, going to art college, opening a piano shop and becoming a piano tuner, producing many drawings and eventually selling up and living full time in a motorhome.
