The Dragon's Gem tells the story of Jaden West, a young man who's thrown into an adventure of his life as he takes up with an old friend of his fathers. They must travel all of Western Avarden, seeking out the missing pieces of an ancient ruby; the only known artefact that can contain the might and power of Mallek, the terrible black dragon who plagues the North.
