Tales of Tanks and Coppers is a collection of stories, musings and anecdotes from William Gray covering the second world war when he drove a tank in the 23rd Hussars, fighting its way across France and Germany, and afterwards in the fifties and sixties when he was a detective in the Metropolitan Police.
