what is narrative building? What is immersion? What is interactivity? What is 'therapy'? How does technology advance in a machine/mathematical global, finance 'neo-liberal' capitalism where the rich get richer with off shore accounts and we have to get 'smarter' with our new cognitive work? Who is digging the ditches? Is it the ancient communion 'around the fire' a means of wrapping important memes up in a parasitic fashion to a linear, contrived plot? Should there be plot points in our complicated lives that seduce us further into the immersion of narrative forms? Urbanism, telematics, performance, architecture, design are made in very different ways now. The 'smartphone' is a ADD working prison cell as much as an instrument of 'freedom'. Pathologies abound from this combination of sequestered capital and our need to 'master' technologies with our pay to play entitlements. ...or our pay to play humanity.
