Tales of Tuckurimba: A history of the Hunt family tells the story of Herbert and Mary Hunt and their family who settled in Tuckurimba in 1912 as dairy farmers. Ther son George was a gifted amateur photographer who captured family life, community events and the river traffic on the North Arm of the Richmond River in the first half of the twentieth century. The Hunts sent two sons to both wars, struggled through the Depression, milked cows twice a day through their lives and contributed significantly to their community
