In 2014 MM Steer became interested in the Tao Te Ching. After consulting several versions and finding each as impenetrable as the last, he took a literal translation and began to use each chapter as a meditative exercise, piecing together the pÏtic meaning implicit wthin the extremely terse text.
After paraphrasing the words and honing the language to its most epigrammatic, he subsequently rearranged the chapters to improve the reading flow by grouping those with similar subject matter together.
MM Steer hopes that his ÔreimaginationÕ of this ancient text will awaken interest in readers to consider for themselves how energy flow works within and around their own lives.
