This book explores how informal classroom discussion leads to civil discourse and academic writing. It was a collaboration of a long time high school English teacher and a college writing instructor. The methods described may be used in a classroom or for other purposes such as, family discussions, organizational workshops, meetings, any gatherings engaged in meaningful discourse.
