ABOUT SHARON - Sharon is not a stranger to suffering. Over the years she has experienced a number of heavy trials, including losing her husband to a brain tumor, two children with cancer, and personal health issues to name but a few. The short chapters you will read here came originally from text messages or email updates she sent to the ladies of her church as they asked to be her prayer warriors for this most recent trial of suffering, a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Those friends began posting them on a blog and eventually decided a book would allow others to benefit from her wisdom.
Explaining her reason for allowing these updates and prayer requests to be more widely read on a blog, Sharon wrote: ÒMy hope in sharing my thoughts along this difficult and painful journey is two-fold. First, I want to encourage and comfort any who find themselves on similar paths full of suffering. But most of all, I want to give glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as he is the one carrying me on this long and arduous path.Ó
