This fictional story is set in the time of "the Great Depression". You will read of work, worries, fears, joys, and romances of the Coe and Zaperdaha families and their neighbours. They struggle with a cattle drive, a death, and even a "bad guy" as the story unfolds. You will share the elation and sorrow of "that Coe woman", as Jenny is faced with raising her children alone, reuniting with her father, and discovering a new love.
