This book documents the 2018 Laskey Award, a design creativity grant program that perpetuates Professor Emeritus Leslie J. LaskeyÕs singular approach to design education during his thirty-five year tenure at Washington University in St. Louis. For the 2018 Laskey Award, artist Ian Monroe led sophomore architecture students in a weekend charrette. Working in teams, the students proposed new global networks, made objects as evidence of the new networks, and created conspiracy websites documenting further fictitious evidence of these networks. The Laskey Award has been sponsored since 2008 by Studio L, an organization of former students, friends, and supporters of Leslie Laskey.
