The Accident is the story of a man that awakes
from a coma following a severe car crash
and is horrified to find his right hand severed
and a mechanical one in its place. He also
suffers some brain trauma from the crash
and begins to suspect his mind is not what
it once was. As the story winds on the man
becomes convinced there is a conspiracy
against him. He struggles to keep his former
identity and to make amends with the others
that suffered from the accident. His perso-
nality is split between a prescription drug
induced corporate stooge and his former
Bohemian self, transpiring into the final clim-
actic conflict. The Accident is the classic
struggle between the individual and ever
engulfing conformity.
