This series has an interesting back story. Buster Brown Shoes added a line of products under
the name Robin Hood Shoes. To promote this new line to kids and their parents, Brown Shoe
Company decided to start publishing their own line of Robin Hood Comics to be given out
exclusively at their shoe stores.
