The song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is not so graceful in the illustrations of this book. The wife wakes up one morning to find seven swans in the bathroom and bath tub and the credit card bill running up from the five golden rings while trying to figure out how to build hen houses for the three messy french hens as her husband continues to bring in more gifts in order to please his dear wife. She knows nothing about taking care of farm animals much less dealing with all the house guests in the 21st century. For anyone who needs a good laugh!
