Sebago Lake once possessed MaineÕs most outstanding inland beaches. Since 1992 The Friends of Sebago Lake (FOSL) has maintained an effort to inform government regulatory agencies and the citizens of Maine of the demise of these beaches due to changing societal and environmental values.Ê FOSL has collected a visual record of the historical beaches of Sebago Lake. The Beaches of Sebago Lake Vol. 1 contains the older photographs and postcards that pay a tributeÊto these magnificent beaches.
