This anthology contains nine plays developed by The BOOM Theatre Co., the center for creative, smart, and challenging theatre in Harford County, MD. Featuring new creations by Lorraine Portman, Lisa Davidson, Joshua Fletcher, Ryan Nicotra, Brandon Beatty, Samantha Allen, and Stacie Beard, this collection represents the first three years that defined this emerging theatre company.
A majority of these plays were created for the Brave New Works Theatre Festival and the 24-Hour Play Festival (24HPF). In this book, the methodologies behind both events are outlined in detail for artists, teachers, and producers to freely use or adapt.
