Britain's relationship with the European Union was fractured as a result of the June 2016 referendum. This book analyses some of the issues involved from the point of view of someone who has lived and worked in both the UK and Germany. Current British voters, the media and politicians do not seem to understand the ethos of EU membership and why it benefits both the UK and Europe as a whole. Brexit is likely to be a disaster of major proportions, in particular for the unity of the UK, and its economy in the short and medium term.
