From the author of "Ned Ludd: He-Goose from Hell" and "White-Hot Gruel".
A man is stabbed multiple times and left for dead in Old Biscuit, a village in the northeast of England. Detectives from the nearby town of Midcassun go down to investigate, but when days later a woman is attacked in her home in the Midcassun suburbs, they are forced to conclude that a serial killer is on the loose. A pool of suspects emerges, but every one of them has a solid alibi, and as their investigation stalls and stutters, the detectives become increasingly baffled in their quest to apprehend the so-called Butcher of Old Biscuit.
