At its most simple level the Song of Solomon (or, Song of Songs) is a wonderful love story, depicting the deep and allegorical relationship between a Bride and her Bridegroom (alongside other supporting roles). However, this book is also a much misunderstood one - with many commentators stumbling over the intricate and yet powerful symbology.
