I was apprehensive about filling the pages with ÔunnecessaryÕ or ÔbadÕ sketches. This is very prevalent in the first half of this documentation. The sketches are laid horizontally rather than vertically to maximize the image size on the page. The sketches are done on every other page as not to ÔdamageÕ the sketch that preceded it. It can be understood that there is a strict organization to the first half of the document. Sketches are evenly laid out allowing enough room for white space and notes. I barely used this sketchbook for idea generation. It was left alone, clean, unbruised and beaten to allow for the sketches that were chosen to be preserved. However, there came a time, that is documented on page 31, where a significant shift in my design expression took place.
