The last of its many reboots, BLACK CAT completed it's healthy 62-issue run as BLACK CAT MYSTIC. The title had been a superhero-romance, a hard-nosed horror comic, and a western, before offering its last five issues as a mystery-suspense comic. The first three issues are dominated by Jack ÒKingÓ Kirby who pencils all the stories and inks most of them. The remaining stories are more-than-ably handled by such talents as Bob Powell, Joe Certa and Doug Wildey. Before long Harvey Comics would be the home of almost exclusively cartoon characters and funny animals, but if they were going out, they were going out with a bang! Never before has BLACK CAT MYSTIC been offered in one book- but that's what we do!
