Rainbow Boy A.K.A Jay Watson first appeared in Eastern Color Printing CompanyÕs RegÕlar Fellers
Heroic Comics #14. Rainbow Boy was able to fly at great speeds. When he flew a rainbow colored
light would appear behind him as he went. He could use the light to create solid objects to capture
criminals. He could see in both the ultraviolet and infrared light spectrums. Rainbow Boy would
occasionally have team-ups with Hydroman. Interesting note, the origin of his powers were never
revealed.
Rainbow Boy regretfully only had a short run of appearances. He was in EasternÕs RegÕlar Fellers
Heroic Comics #14 and #15. Issue #16 saw the title renamed to simply HEROIC COMICS. Rainbow
Boy would be featured in issues #16-20 and #25.
This book was compiled with the best images currently available. That stated, these comics are
seventy years old. The best efforts have been made to make the pages as enjoyable as possible
but not every panel is perfect and some allowances for the age of the books need to be
considered when judging the overall contents.
