John Wayne in his early days was a studio bit player who listened to stories told by Wyatt Earp himself, but his own story was just beginning. He was an actor, who played a variety of roles just like any other actor would do. He was also in many ways a character himself, because it was enough for a story to be about John Wayne, not just John Wayne ÒasÓ someone else. He was best known as the cowboy, the western lawman, but he was also the soldier, the adventurer, and at time even the lover. His movie career spanned decades, so it is a little surprising that his comic book series was with us for a modest 31 issues. Thankfully, we have them all for you in a great 4 Volume collection - - the best quality, the best value!
This book contains the original stories form #23-31. Some stories in the last issues were already published in this collection so are not repeated.
THE PUBLICATION OF THIS BOOK (AND MANY MORE) IS ONLY DUE TO THE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF TERRY LEVIN
QUALITY NOTE: The issues in this volume are aged and a few are over-processed during scanning, and a couple are damaged; the overall appearance is not up to our usual standards. We hope that you will nonetheless enjoy their imperfect authenticity.
