An undergraduate textbook for the study of tonal music, from fundamentals of notation through chord analysis, counterpoint, and formal analysis. This text can be used for an entire survey sequence of undergraduate music theory in tonal music. Students use the workbook format for needed drill and practice while additional materials for study focus on analysis techniques and writing about musical analysis.
