Rebeca and her friends get cut from the High School soccer team, apparently because they are of Mexican descent. The girls find an ally in Mr. Bocraft, a former coach who was "cut" by the High School as well. They overcome obstacles and adversity in an attempt to level the playing field for everyone at their school.
