This book includes the family of George Steckel and his wife Mary Raub who bought land in Williams Township, Northampton County, Pa in 1794. It traces his descendants from his three children:
Susan Steckel, wife Joseph Garis, lived in Williams Township which is now South Easton.
Rosina Steckel, the second wife of John Stocker, lived in Williams Township.
John Steckel and his wife Sara Wein, they lived in Williams Township.
The book also includes the first few generations of Peter Steckel of Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pa.
It also traces the early generations of Philip Steckel of Bucks County Pa.
The final section traces the roots of Mary Raub Steckel, and her siblings as well as her aunts and uncles and their families.
