The Devil in the White City Teaching Unit contains 20 days of lesson plans including daily activators, activities, and summarizers for use with The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. The answer keys are formatted exactly as the studentsÕ activities. Several unit assessments, both traditional and project-based, are included. Within the suggested daily agenda, we have included options for differentiation as well as opportunities for informal and formal assessments. All activities are aligned to the Common Core Standards for ELA11-12. Also included is a grammar appendix which contains bell-ringer style activities to accompany three grammar skills: apostrophes, semi-colons, and colons.
