This document contains 13 visionary design projects by Landscape Architecture, Interior Architecture/Product Design and Architecture students in the 2013 Italian Studies Program, from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at Kansas State University.
The proposals aim at the creation of an urban scale spectacle; and seek to transform the stretch between the Ponte Sixtus and Ponte Mazzini bridges on the river Tiber in Rome into a stage for exhibitions, performances, and a variety of spectacles, either planned or anticipated.
This design studio project was co-taught by Professors Alpa Nawre and Anthony Chelz. It was supported by the TEVERETERNO initiative in Rome, an ambitious, ongoing endeavor which seeks to reclaim and celebrate the Tiber in the consciousness of residents and visitors alike.
