An account of the brief film and stage career of Austrian actress Elfriede Datzig (1922-1946), who worked in Austria and then in Nazi Germany during World War II, and briefly for the U.S.O. at the war's end; illustrated with numerous film stills, behind-the-scenes photographs, and other materials. Datzig was called "the little sparrow from Vienna" during her brief lifetime.
