This is the undergraduate philosophy journal of LaGuardia Community College, The City University of New York. This yearÕs issue of The Gadfly, first, showcases submissions from the 7th Annual CUNY Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, hosted by LaGuardia Community College. This yearÕs conference had over 150 people in attendance, which is a clear indication that philosophy is flourishing at LaGuardia. Second, it brings together four studentÕs essays, as well as student commentary, devoted to a single philosophical theme: love.
