The Bible instructs us, (Rom.12:3) For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. So what will you look like when you are not the most important person in your life?
When you are content to not claim a title and to let God be your reward because He only is the One you want to pleaseÉ when you have died to all your own ambitionsÉ when you can give your last two pennies to someone who needs them, even though you may need them moreÉ when you can rejoice to turn the other cheekÉ when you can wait and wait on God and your faith grows even strongerÉ when you can pass over othersÕ faults instead of judging themÉ when you can give all the glory to God with all of your heartÉ What will you look like? You will look like Jesus.
(2Co.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.
