This small book titled, The Golden Counsels of Saint Francis de Sales contains many of the inspiring thoughts and "saintly" wisdom of one the Catholic Church's greatest saints [St. Francis de Sales (1567-1622) Bishop and Doctor of the Church]. It was through his devout prayer life, numerous writings, evangelization efforts and his overall dedicated missionary zeal for souls that he was able to bring many thousands back into the fold of the One, True, Faith, most especially in the Calvinist [Protestant] stronghold of Geneva, Switzerland. May you garner much spiritual insight from his words and holy maxims contained here, and may our Lord Jesus inspire you to follow his example in pursuing not only your own holiness, but aiding in the conversion of the many lost and indifferent souls in our world.
