The Fergus family history continues with the story of Hugh Fergus and his family of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Described by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette columnist Joe Browne as Òa rarity in many ways,Ó Hugh Fergus was a farm boy who graduated from Penn State at the beginning of the 20th century. He was a successful farmer and dairy- and beef-cattleman, a committed United Presbyterian, involved in many civic and charitable works, and a proud father and grandfather. This is his story.
