Despite the title, this perky little tune is a dance melody taken from an aria in Storace's opera 'The Haunted Tower.'
A set of variations from the end of the 18th C, intended for pedal harp, or keyboard, but playable on the lever harp either by substitution of D for F sharp, or more experienced lever players can use the 'single-hand' accidental technique.
