Volume 1.2 counts 618 pages describing 6985 artworks of 1876 identified Italian artists depicting the Greek-Roman Goddess Venus. The catalogue forms part of a series of six from a digital thematic research collection of the Iconography of Venus from the Middle Ages to Modern Times. A contribution to the quantitative approach and distant viewing in art history.
