Society looks down on women. It always has. It's misogynistic. It also looks down on anything and anyone different: members of the LGBT+ community, for example. Seraphina of Phythia wants to be a famous knight. She sets out on an epic, but dangerous journey to accomplish the cliche of rescuing the beautiful princess locked in the high tower guarded by the fearsome dragon. So she rides on her trustworthy horse to prove herself as a skilled, honorable, and respectable knight. She finds the dragon flying on top of the castle. And she finds someone worth much more valuable and important than being a famous knight that Society will always see as below them.

The Alternative is vast, weird, and holding all sad arrogant stereotypes of the real world, but here we are fighting a fire-breathing dragon with poor eyesight whilst trying to save the very pretty princess.
