Their father, who is increasingly lost to the bewilderment of Alzheimer's, is about to be placed in a home. The mother, with-it and feisty, has plans, plans that she has not yet shared with her daughters, for a new life. The daughters and their assorted partners are complex, funny, acerbic, and - at the end of the day- a loving family.
