The Lautem Latrine is a design proposal for a latrine block, for the communities of Lautem, Timor Leste. The design is based on that of the Blair Latrine, developed in Zimbabwe for the Ministry of Health, by Robert Morgan at the Blair Institute in the 1970s, but with modifications for local use and local materials. The design incorporates a rainwater harvesting system for the purpose of supplying water to users for handwashing.
