With the human having fled into the depths of the mysterious Everfree Forest for the sake of his beloved, his newfound friends are quick to launch a search even as dark denizens begin to stir with the approaching night. And yet, even with a happy ending to this dark time on the horizon, one final painful twist lies in wait for the human to decide his ultimate fate in Equestria and to set the stage for the future.
