Why would you want a career in management?
There is a curious road that IÕve seen numerous people walk on in their professional life. I call this The Management Mile.
In fact, this journey was so common that I came to appreciate there was a consistent profile that represented what the vast majority of my clients had faced, and overcame, as they walked their own unique management mile.
I wrote this book because all too often IÕve seen good-intentioned, good-hearted people move into a management career, only to come out bent or broken from the experience.
Many others remain, suffering in silence as they seek to stay afloat in a position that is killing them slowly.
And then, thereÕs the select few who prospered. Those who have successfully achieved a much-deserved harmony between their personal and professional life that so many have strived for, only to come up short.
