He was one of the first Ð and certainly among the most evil Ð of supervillains, appearing for the first time over 110 years ago, and since then in every conceivable literary and entertainment form including books, movies, television, magazines, even as the name of a rock group Ð and of course, the comics. In 1951 he was the subject of what is considered now a masterpiece of comic work by Wally Wood, THE MASK OF FU MANCHU. The writer is unknown, though some say the story was adapted by Wood himself; the pages have the complexity of a Sax Rohmer novel and the pace of an action film. We are proud to present this authentic reprint of the classic tale!
