This is the story of what happened to us Germans who had been living in the Czechoslovak Republic (Hitler's Sudetenland)for nearly a millennium . It tells of the understandable brutality with which we were treated after World War Two.
It is also the story of a mother-daughter relationship that, in those terrible times, threatened to kill us both.
