During the 1980Õs, Pat Rahming wrote about the need for Bahamians to pay attention to the question of Self-Image. His argument was simple: all behavior emanates from self-image (you canÕt do what you donÕt think you are). The impact of the lack of attention to the building blocks of self-image (History, Spiritual Connectedness and a Sense of Community), in his opinion, had begun to create a society of individuals exhibiting the symptoms of Low Self Esteem. In The Na•ve Agenda, he shares some of the essays, speeches and articles demonstrating the effects of this Self-Image shortcoming on Cultural Development, Educational Reform, Political Involvement and Anti-Social Behaviour.
