The Suite from "The Nutcracker" comprehends some of the most famous pages of Tchaikovsky works. The "Valse des Fleurs" ( The Flowers Waltz, already published in the EMF-Collection 005) and also the "TrŽpak" (Russian Dance) were used in several occasions in various media productions and testify the luck and the beauty of this music.
This transcription allows a longer concert performance as compared to the other compositions belonging to the Suite, which can be performed as an unusual encores. The Suite in its entirety is an interesting alter-ego for a romantic organ Symphony like the ones of the French tradition.
