Over the course of history, many women have found themselves with an unwanted pregnancy - and faced with making a decision. This new research explored the essence of the open adoption triad specifically illuminating the subjective experiences of 7 birthmothers - from finding out about their pregnancy until years after maintaining the open triad. Clinical helpers can better understand how to support and provide treatment for birthmothers as a result of hearing their voice regarding their adoption experience.
