John Perretti is a prior pugilist, painter, and poet. He was a professor at SVA, the co-creator of Extreme Fighting, and coiner of the term ÒMixed Martial Arts.Ó He founded the gym Madison Avenue Muscle and has continued to dedicate himself to the largely unexplored territory between the fine and the martial arts.
