This particular volume begins before Heidi and I met. It is 1977 and I am still on my mission in Germany as we read Heidi's first journal entries. Heidi makes all of the entries for over a year until I finally begin after my mission. We cover the fun and woes of dating others, our courtship and our rather quick decision to marry, the pure enjoyment of our early married years, and life's changes as we welcome Audrey into our life. We each faced many disappointments, challenges, victories and learning moments. Throughout we have included reminisces and reflections on how those early years shaped our lives for good.
